Revolutionizing Effluent Treatment Efficiency

In Nagpur, a significant energy-saving transformation was achieved at an Effluent Treatment Plant with the expertise of Seetech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The plant's pump, operating 16 hours daily and 365 days a year, previously utilized IE1/IE2 motors. These legacy motors, though functional, incurred substantial electricity costs, directly impacting profitability.

To address this, the pump-set was upgraded with Matel's cutting-edge ULTRAMATE™ Series IE5 Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. This high-efficiency motor significantly reduced power consumption while enhancing performance.



Before Implementation: The pump, powered by a 15KW IE1/IE2 motor running at 2940 RPM with a VFD, consumed 16.69KW of input power. It delivered a flow of 126.2m³/hr at an output pressure of 2Kg/cm².


After Implementation: The ULTRAMATE™ IE5 motor, operating at 13.37KW input power and 2750 RPM, increased the flow to 132.3m³/hr at the same output pressure of 2Kg/cm².
